Always wanted to ride a horse and looking for a unique experience? Then check out our horse riding tour in Puerto Plata. This is a 3-hour activity around the mountain or beach. Your tour will start with pickup from your hotel or Cruise Port Terminal by our transportation . After a short drive you will arrive at the ranch where the horses are waiting already saddled up. Our horses are well-cared for and well-fed but most of all the staff truly loves each one of them. You will be with our experienced guides and trained horses through beautiful tropical fauna and you will have an unforgettable morning.

Jungle Horse back riding excursion

The kids said they had so much fun and got to see a lot and even tried a cocoa nut. Thank you for making their excursion something they keep talking about.

Must do horseback on the beach

We selected the beach ride and were accompanied by an elder gentleman named Antonio and a young man as the lead guide. We went through the woods for a short ride which lead us onto the beach. The scenery was beautiful, more than a picture can capture. Antonio was at the back and made sure our group of 6 were riding smoothly. We opted to cut it short to 2 hours since that would be plenty of time for us. We stopped halfway to let the horses rest and there was a small hut you can buy drinks and food. Our way back was along the beachside and even though it was the same path, the view looked completely different. This is definitely on my top 3 excursions! It was such a memorable experience!

peaceful beautiful walk by the ocean

I loved it! We passed by the ocean, so beautiful, peaceful, amazing horses and a guide with us. I do recommend this :)

Relaxing and peaceful

Really enjoyed this tour. Although, I initially wanted the beach. But was unable due to the rain/flooding so we took the scenic route. I visit a shop and plantation to see their different vegetation. It was very nice, peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend. Don’t forget the bug spray though

Relaxing and peaceful

This tour was worth it. Although, I initially wanted to do the beach but due to flooding wasn’t able to so we did the scenic route. It was very peaceful and quiet. The horses were well behaved. Went to a little shop and plantation to see how they’re many different vegetations. I enjoyed it.
